The start of the 2018 Finn World Masters has been delayed due to lack of wind on the first day of racing at the Club Náutico El Balís. Despite another beautiful day, light winds precluded any racing taking place.
More than 350 Finn sailors gathered Sunday 20 May at the Club Náutic El Balís, in Spain, as the 2018 Finn World Masters was opened under beautiful blue Mediterranean skies, which together with the fantastic Catalan hospitality, made for a finntastic evening.
With less than a week until the 2018 Finn World Masters opens in El Balís, Spain, there are an impressive 352 entries from 32 countries. It falls just a few boats short of the record set in Torbole in 2016, but a few late entries are expected, so it may yet pass the record of 355 boats.
