The 2017 host venue has been awarded to Barbados Yacht Club, Bridgetown, Barbados. The class has been offered a very attractive package and this was considered a unique opportunity to stage the event in the Caribbean.

The vote for the host of the 2017 World Masters event was taken at the Finn World Masters Annual General Meeting, held on Wednesday 11th 2014 during the World Masters week.
